The North Central Region Together Leadership Training Conference is sponsored by the Royal Rangers and Girls Ministries within our region.  The focus of the conference is ministry to children and will feature exceptional speakers, a broad range of breakout sessions, hands-on training, vendors, and giveaways.  We will be doing an auction for Masters Toolbox and Coins for Kids (BGMC).

Mark Entzminger

AG National Children 's Ministries Director
Mark Entzminger, a 4th generation AG Pentecostal, is very concerned about children understanding and experiencing a Spirit empowered life. Like you, he believes that the power of the Holy Spirit is just as critical for children today as it was for the disciples who waited in the Upper Room. As the AG National Children's Ministries Director, Mark leads a high caliber team who focus on equipping the local church in reaching and discipling children so that they can hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and respond to His call. Mark is married to his college sweetheart Christie, and they have two boys Colby and Cadyn. They are graduates of Central Bible College.

Dick and Darlene Gruber, D.MIN.

Crosspoint Church ~ IA
Dick Gruber is the children's pastor at Crosspoint Church in Waverly, Iowa. Prior to serving in this role, Dr. Gruber was the Professor of Children and Family Studies at the University of Valley Forge in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania.

He has authored three children’s ministries books: Children’s Church: Turning Your Circus into a Service, Cultivating a Cutting-Edge Children’s Church, and Focus on Children. He is the creator of Sam Saint Super Sleuth and other costume characters.

    Chris Pruett

    Minnesota Kids' Ministry Director
    Chris Pruett has been in ministry since 2003 and currently serves as the Minnesota Kids’ Ministry Director for the Assemblies of God. He is a graduate of North Central University with a Bachelor in Arts degree in Children’s Ministry.

    Some of his favorite things in ministry are seeing kids connect with God and for leaders to use their giftings in the church. What Chris enjoys most is spending time with his wife Kristin and their four children, serving at New Life Church in Prinston, MN and encouraging kids and young families to follow Jesus!

    Mark Kilcoyne

    Wisconsin / N. Michigan Kids' Ministry Director
    Mark serves as the discipleship director for the Wisconsin/ N. Michigan Ministries Network. In this position, he oversees the children's ministry programs for the network.

    Prior to serving in this role, he served as a kids' pastor in Chicago and Janesville, WI for 20 years. He has his Master's degree from Regent University.

    Mark believes we need to present Jesus in a way that is captivating and creative. Mark is married to Debra Kilcoyne and is the father of two college-age kids.

    Troy and Brenda RENTER

    Iowa Ministries Network Children's Ministry Director
    Troy and Brenda Renter have worked professionally and as volunteers with at-risk youth and children for over 30 years. Troy worked for eight years in the human services field before going into full-time ministry. Brenda is currently a behavioral Interventionalist with Iowa Area Education Association. They both have done numerous training with trauma-informed care, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and Connections Matter. They also do respite care under the Child Mental Health Waiver.

    They have both worked as youth and children's pastors in various churches. Troy is currently the Iowa Ministry Network's Children's Director and full-time Lead pastor. Brenda is also an ordained pastor with Assemblies of God and works full time as a Behavioral Interventionist. They have two adult children.

    REED AND SHARI CAPE

    Rochester Assembly of God ~ MN
    Pastor Reed Cape began in Royal Rangers as a Buckaroo Commander in 1988 and two years later he was on District Staff in Southern Idaho. In 1994, he began full-time ministry and has continuously served as a Children's Pastor for 27 years. He has actively been a part of Royal Rangers ministry for 33 years. Shortly after being hired at Rochester Assembly, Reed met his soon-to-be wife, Shari. Shari enjoys homeschooling their 4 children and working on their hobby farm. She currently teaches adults, teens and kids. She is part of the life group leadership team and serves within their church's recovery group. Together they have served hundreds of families over the past 15 years.

    PHILLIP HAHN

    Bridge Church ~ WI
    Philip Hahn is a second-generation children’s pastor in ministry since 2002. Currently serving as children’s pastor at Bridge Church in Waukesha, WI. He and his wife, Chanda, have a vision to see kids discipled into powerful followers of Christ. He has been involved in Royal Rangers since he was 5 years old.

    Paul Morrison

    Crossview Church ~ WI
    Paul Morrison serves as an APEX Youth Leader for Crossview Chuch in Wisconsin Rapids, WI. Paul has also been involved in in Royal Rangers since he was 7 years old. Paul has experience as a professional trainer and currently works as a Substitute Teacher for grades from elementary to high school. As a Veteran and a retired law enforcement officer, Paul has been charged with training many professional staff, as well as educating children/adults of all ages. Paul enjoys spending time with his wife and and their children.

    Steve Larson

    Community Celebration Church ~ MN
    Steve Larson is married to Tammy and has two children: Dalton and Miracle. He planted community Celebration church in 1996 in Kasson, MN. He is the lead pastor there. He is a contributing author of the book, The Church Leaders Answer Book. He lives in Rochester, MN.

    Chanda Hahn

    Bridge Church ~ WI
    Chanda is exceptional at building teams. She has served in almost every capacity in children’s ministry over the years and currently runs their Girls Ministries. Chanda is a New York Times bestselling author, licensed minister, and Girls Ministries Director. Currently she serves as children’s pastor at the Bridge Church in Waukesha, WI and she has a vision to see kids discipled into powerful followers of Christ.
